You can call him Billy, or Bobby, or Buddy he answers to all! Billy is a 2 year old border collie mix, possibly mixed with spaniel if you take note of those ears!
Billy is in rescue through no fault of his own. He was adopted as a pup from an area rescue group but, like many young dogs, once the puppy cuteness wears off and the reality of an untrained adolescent dog sets in, the dog is the one who loses. He was taken in by a young couple but having more than one dog was very hard for them in these uncertain economic times.
Billy Bob has been taking the agility foundation classes at Sugar Bush Farm where he is being fostered. He is a bright young man, learning quickly and has lots of enthusiasm for the sport of agility! If a local person adopts Billy, he can continue his agility classes at no charge with Kathy at Sugar Bush Farm. Agility or a dog sport is not a requirement at all for Billy, he will be just as happy being a loyal companion dog in the right home.
Billy has lived with other dogs and cats. He is housetrained, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines.
Billly Bob is being fostered in Eastern Upstate NY.
