BREE CAN SEE!
But she still needs your help...

When Bree came into rescue in July she was almost completely blind due to bilateral cataracts. It was too scary for her to go for walks, she would lose her tennis ball easily in the grass and she bumped into things frequently. NEBCR generously took Bree into rescue and quickly intervened so that this 2 year old dog's vision could be saved. It's been 6 weeks since Bree's cataract surgery and she now can see! Bree had both cataracts removed and a new lens was implanted into her right eye. The surgeon was unable to implant a lens in her left eye due to a genetic abnormality in that eye. She does have vision in her left eye but it's not as sharp as her right. Bree loves meeting new people and is now able to look right into their eyes!

NEBCR, Inc. is proud of the fact that we never turn away a dog due to age or health issues. ALL donations will go towards helping to pay for the care Bree and other dogs like her need to live full, happy and healthy lives.
