New England Border Collie Rescue - Helping Border Collies in Need

PLEASE NOTE: It will be some time before this dog is ready to be adopted and before we know what type of home will be the best match. We will provide updates as we can and appreciate your patience. Once this dog is ready to be adopted, a regular bio will go up on the Available Dogs page of our website along with the rescue person's contact information. At that time people with approved applications on file will be free to inquire. To find all the information on NEBCR's adoption policies and procedures, and a link to our online application, please go to THIS PAGE.

WE CANNOT PROVIDE ANY INFORMATION ON THIS DOG UNTIL SHE IS READY TO BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION.

CATE

After 9 months in rescue, Cate is beginning to make some real progress. Rather than spending her days in the corner, she will occasionally foray into other parts of the house. She loves the company of the other dogs, and playing chase with them outdoors.

While she does not solicit attention from humans, and is still very wary of us, she is no longer exhibits the same level of terror when humans approach or are in the vicinity.

Once she's ready to be adopted, a quieter household, experience with fearful dogs and at least one other confident dog will be requirements.
