Dottie ~ ADOPTED

Yes

Hi I am Dottie!! I came into rescue after my family was forced to move into an apartment. They had given me much love and it shows in my personality. I was a bit overweight (foster mom says) and have been slimming down nicely. My coat is just getting back to it's beautiful condition. I use to get shaved in the summer. My family had forgot to brush me and I had to be shaved in a few places again so my hair is growing back. Foster mom says I'm a good girl when she brushes me. My coat is now silky, soft and shiny

I LOVE my people, foster mom says I have the best manners of any dog she has ever met. People are my favorite I am always at their sides and never wander far. I walk nicely on a leash. The car is OK, I haven't spent much time traveling. I know sit, down, shake. I never jump on people or furniture, bark unless someone is at the door and sleep on my doggie bed on the floor during TV time. My foster home is full of fun. I live with both big and small dogs and I get along great with them all (even the pushy Aussies). I am even good with cats! I don't ever fight with my foster brothers and sisters, if they try to steal my bone I give a soft growl and nothing more.

My foster mom says I will have lots of families wanting me as I am the "best girl ever!" While I'm a good girl, remember I'm still a Border Collie and needs lots of exercise and attention. My dream family has lots of time and love for me, I am a bit shy at first but warm up quickly with attention. I would be happy in a home with or without other pets. As long as people are there to love me I am happy.

I am being fostered in Northeast CT.
