Meeghan ~ ADOPTED

Are you my family?

I am Meeghan and I just turned 5 years old. I am a female border collie with a lot of love to give. I am still a youngster, but I am old enough to be past the silly adolescent times. My foster mom says that I am a snuggle bunny, but honest, there is no bunny in me.

I am a border collie through and through! And be careful...just when you least expect it, I may come up and give you a kiss!!

I love to experience life and am constantly watching the world around me. I have had the chance to do what I was born to do ...herd sheep...and that is something I really enjoy. Them sheepiez are sure fun to watch and I love my job herding them. But I don't have to be in a herding home, I just need a home with love.

I am not sure which I like more...running and chasing toys or lying with my people and snuggling. I just love them both so much. I am in a foster home with other border collies and with some small dogs, too. I love running around the yard chasing them.

Even though I am in a foster home with lots of other dogs, my foster mom thinks I would do best in a home as the only dog. I was previously in a home with two other dogs and one of them just kept annoying me...and it pushed me over the edge. My foster mom does not know what happened (that is MY secret), but she says “just to be safe” I should be an only dog. I have only gotten annoyed twice in my foster home, and that was when the border-collie-in-charge tried to interrupt me from playing too hard with my foster brothers. We had words, but no one got hurt.
