Olivia

Yes

One of the TX puppy mill dogs, Liv has become quite the house dog. She spends a fair amount of time on the back stairs keeping an eye on what’s happening in our upstairs office and in the kitchen downstairs. From that vantage point she can keep tabs on her foster family.

Her personality is emerging more each day. She’s very silly and playful - loves to fling herself on her back for tummy rubs, wrestling, and “playing shark”.

She is almost house-trained – only has an occasional accident. Absolutely adores sleeping in the baby pack-n-play playpen or taking a snooze on the lounge chairs on the porch.

Olivia loves to go for daily walks and is walking beautifully on a leash. She is most comfortable walking with her packmate George - his company helps her deal with the vehicle noises. (He generally walks on the outside so he’s closest to the road.) She is still very shy when meeting new people or dogs, but tolerates it quite well; is never reactive or barky – just wary.

She likes car rides – especially when we end up at Fat Boy drive-in to get burgers and fries! She’s very quick to learn and wants to please, so training is a breeze. She gets along great with the other dogs and has stopped chasing the cats altogether.

Olivia is being fostered in Maine.
