Samson is curious but respectful of the cats in his foster
home, but they are very dog savvy.
With the three dogs in his foster home, Samson is slower
to warm. He doesn't mind dogs that ignore him, but when
dogs get in his face or too close, Samson will let them
know to back off. He's quickly called off from this, but
I wouldn't trust him alone loose with other dogs at this
point. He would likely do best in a single dog family, or
at least with another more mature dog who won't bother him.
Families looking for a dog to play with an existing dog
should probably look elsewhere.
Samson is a bit overweight right now, and should probably
weigh about 40lbs. He is being fed a high quality Grain
Free kibble to help bring his weight back down.
If you're looking for a great, fun and friendly Border
Collie to join your family, you should definitely consider
Samson is being fostered in southern ME.
