New England Border Collie Rescue - Helping Border Collies in Need

This dog is available under our Seniors for Seniors program.

Here is Tippy!

He really is a cutie-pie!

He is tri-colored with prick ears.

He is 10 years young and will be 11 on
October 1, 2009.

He loves to go for rides in the car.

He loves to be by your side.

He doesn't require a fenced yard because once he knows where he lives, he doesn't want to go far and he knows you will never leave him outside unattended!

Why is this wonderful little herding dog looking for a home? His papa, who he has known since a pup, recently died and he lived all alone. His extended family contacted rescue to help.

Tippy has lived with a cat before and was fine. Tippy is presently living very nicely with a houseful of border collies and others of all ages and sizes. But we think a quieter life would be much more to his liking.

Tippy was recently vetted, caught up on vaccines, groomed, and deemed healthy. Even liver and kidney function was excellent and he has no worms or lumps or bumps to be concerned about. He is also at an ideal weight! He has a little enamel wear but his teeth are in good shape.

Does anyone out there want an adorable little companion who is well settled and very mannerly? Tippy is available in our Senior to Senior program at no charge to the right person/family.

No children please, as we are not sure how he'd do with the younger set and really want a quieter home for the boy.

Oh, I forgot to mention (and in case you haven't noticed) little Tippy is a Sheltie and not a border collie after all! But he needed help so here he is, waiting for you, his companion for life.

Tippy says thank you very much for looking at him!

You must have an approved application on file to be considered for any adoptable dog.

Please submit your application BEFORE inquiring about a particular dog.
