New England Border Collie Rescue - Helping Border Collies in Need

Tripper ~ ADOPTED

Yes

Tripper came from a loving home and it shows! This is one sweet boy who came into rescue with his Dad, Cree. He loves his person, moving with you throughout the house. Outside he will not stray far either and checks back in often. He loves to be involved in whatever you're doing willing to spend hours lying near while you weed the garden.

He is pretty laid back for a Border Collie but still enjoys a good romp every day. Trip has just started wrestling with his foster brother, although by far his favorite thing to do with his foster brother is to try to herd him. He seems to pick the fastest moving dog out then try to do something about keeping them still. :^)

Due to this strong herding instinct he will not be placed with a family with children under 12.

10 REASONS WHY YOU WOULD WANT TRIPPER TO JOIN YOUR FAMILY
1. No problems co-existing with his 3 new BC foster sisters, a foster brother and two cats.
2. He makes himself at home wherever his person settles.
3. Doesn't get in the trash.
4. Doesn't counter surf.
5. Very loyal and devoted to his person.
6. Tons of personality!
7. He has a great recall. In fact when you call his name he can turn on a dime and give you a nickel change!!
8. Crate trained.
9. Doesn't get on the furniture.
10. Trip's handsome, loving, intelligent, rides well in the car and great at the vet's.

Tripper already knows a few basic commands and anxiously awaits his forever home to expand his training. He would benefit from a basic obedience class as he's had very little leash work. We've been working on this and he's making great progress. He is currently on raw diet and has a gorgeous coat.

If you've been looking for a well balanced easy going guy to add to your family you won't regret considering Tripper!!

Tripper is being fostered in Maine.
